The Buffet B12 was the top selling student instrument worldwide and was in production for over 40 years. This example is a commission sale and is in fair used condition. The fish skin pads are all used, we have checked the instrument over for seal in our workshop and replaced 3 tenon corks. The nickel silver plated keywork shows some wear, mainly to the rear thumb bush. This clarinet has matching serial numbers 390296, and was made under license in Germany for Buffet. Sadly now production is in China. These, German made, B12s are of considerably better quality than modern student Buffet clarinets. The instrument comes in a worn but functional case, & with a stock Buffet m'piece.
