A very good condition Selmer Console Bb clarinet. This model was Selmer's entry level student model clarinet, but, importantly, unlike today's student models, it was made in Grenadilla wood [apart from the bell which was in ebonite]. This example, matching serial numbers 135060, is in fine condition, no cracks or damage, and with nickel plate in excellent shape. The pads are used fish skin, but all are sealing. This would suit a beginner looking for the tone of a Selmer wooden instrument without the normal higher price tag. The original case is worn but functional.
