An outstanding condition early Buffet RC Prestige Bb clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. There is no damage to the wood, which is without cracks or repairs. All pieces are matching and original. The Silver plate key work is excellent throughout, with no discernible wear, indeed the quality of this plating contrasts sharply with that of contemporary Buffet manufacture. The instrument has just had a complate overhaul in fish skin pads in our workshop, and is sold with our 1 year warranty. The matching serial nos. are F208952 which dates to 1980. This makes this clarinet one of the first RC Prestige clarients made, and it is well known that Buffet put their finest craftsman to work on instruments which are part of an initial launch. This is an exceptional clarinet with exemplary intonation and a fine, even, scale. This instrument features an adjustable thumb rest and unstained hand selected Grenadilla wood.
