Selmer, Bundy, Bass Clarinet
This is a nice condition Selmer Bundy Bass Clarinet in Resonite to low Eb, which is a commission sale. The last owner being a Jazz player. There are no cracks or damage to the body; minor surface scratches and marks only. The crook and bell are both in good condition with only light scratches. There is both tarnish and plating plating loss to the Nickel Silver key work. The Bass has lightly used tan leather pads, all are in good condition & sealing well. The serial nos. are 60209, making this a later example. The case is very heavily used, with much exterior wear, but functional. The m'piece is an ebonite example, and it plays well with 2.5 reeds. The Bass comes with a floor peg attachment and sling hooks. This is a fine example of the proven Selmer design. It plays easily and is an ideal first Bass clarinet purchase for a player not overly bothered by the cosmetic condition.
