Buffet, R13, B Flat Clarinet
A nice condition Buffet R13 Bb clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. There is only slight wear to the silver plating, mainly to the RH ring finger barrel and RH first ring. The upper joint has a repaired, pinned, crack which runs from the top of the upper joint down to the first trill key tone hole. The repair was done more than 20 years ago and the instrument has been stable with regular professional use since then. It is a surface crack only, it does not go through to the bore and is very hard to photograph [See photos 4 & 5] . The tan leather pads are used, but all in very good condition. The matching serial numbers are 485832 which dates to the early 2000s. The original case has some slights scuffs to the exterior with a white marker stencilled serial number, but not the serial number of this clarinet! the interior is good.
