Pair of Buffet Clarinets
A fine condition pair of professional model Buffet clarinets, which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, having been part of a large collection formerly owned by a leading UK professional. The Bb has serial numbers 42087, which dates to 1953. The wood is in fine condition, with no cracks or damage, as is the German Silver keywork. The pads are used tan leather all of which are sealing well. The A has S/N 28265, which dates to 1945. Like the Bb the A is in excellent condition for a clarinet of this age. It has a bell stamped "Dallas London", who were the importers for Buffet post WW II. The wood is very good, with no cracks or repairs, as is the keywork. Like the Bb the pads are used tan leather. Both instruments are in fine regulation, and play nicely with modern French bore m'pieces, i.e. Vandoren. The supplied case is a B&H in good used condition.
