Yamaha, YCL450, B Flat Clarinet
This Yamaha YCL 450 Bb clarinet is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The clarinet has been partialy overhauled in our workshop with 11 pads replaced. The silver plated key work is in fine condition, with no wear. The wood has no cracks or damage it is in fine order throughout. The serial numbers are 120696.The Yamaha 450 is the top selling rival to the Buffet E11. It has a couple of major advantages over its Buffet rival: 1. The wood tends to give less trouble than the E11, which indeed, has developed such a poor reputation in this regard, that the Buffet E11 "France" is now a deleted model in the Buffet range, and has been re-badged E12. Yamaha quality control and build quality are exemplary, and these instruments are easy to live with and perfect for the advancing student. 2. The instrument has a "voicing" groove in the bell, in common with the more expensive models in the Yamaha range and also the Buffet Prestige RC. The supplied m'piece is a used Yamaha 4C, in very good condition, as is the original case .
