Leblanc, L7, A Clarinet
This is a rare L7, professional model Leblanc Paris A clarinet. The L7 was the initial model of the L7/L27/L200/L300 series, which were Leblanc's tapered bore upper joint models, and was introduced in the early 1970's as Leblanc's top of the range model.
This Leblanc L7 A clarinet is in good condition, and is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, having come to us from a repairer. The clarinet has matching serial nos. 30093. The nickel silver plate on this instrument shows some tarnish, but no wear. The pads are all lightly used fish skin, sealing well, as the seller has prepared this clarinet for sale. The grenadilla wood has no cracks or repairs. All pieces are matching and original with Leblanc stamps. The Buffet double case shows some exterior stains, and interior wear, but is sturdy and protects the clarinet well. This is a fine French made professional model that would pair well with any of the modern French bore Bb clarinets.
