Selmer, 10S B Flat Clarinet
A very good condition Selmer 10S clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Selmer 10 Series was the first major model manufactured by Selmer to adopt a small bore undercut design, in the Buffet Crampon manner: Indeed with a bore of only 14.60mm, the 10S is even smaller in the bore than the Buffet R13. The clarinet is extremely lively, easy to play, and has excellent intonation.
This Bb, S/N C8777, dates to 1983. It has Silver plate in very good condition, with no discernible wear. There are no cracks or damage to the wood. The thumb rest screws have been replaced and the thumb rest repositioned lower. The lower pads are all super-pads in very good condition, with the remaining pads in fish skin. All pieces are original and have matching stamps. The m'piece is a used Vandoren 2V. The supplied original case is in fine condition.
