A fair condition early Buffet, Evette & Schaeffer, E13 Bb clarinet, which is a commission sale. The matching serial numbers are K1141, which probably dates to the early 1950s. Thus the date of manufacture of this clarinet is on the cusp of the introduction of the R13 model. The instrument has used fish skin pads and is in good playing condition. The wood does show surface scuffs and marks and there is also a tenon ring to the bottom of the upper joint, probably because of wear. The German Silver keywork is in good condition throughout. All pieces are matching and original. The case is a Kinsman in good condition as is the m'piece, which is a used Woodwind Co. G7*.
