Buffet E11 C Clarinet
An excellent condition Buffet E11 C clarinet, in Grenadilla wood, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The E11 C is Buffet's semi-professional model, and this example has matching serial nos. 00792. The Silver plated key work is in very good condition, with only some slight tarnish to some of the longer keys, please select photos and hover with your mouse to view in "close up". All pieces are matching and original. The instrument has fish skin pads throughout in fine condition, the instrument has been down to our workshop with corks replaced as necessary, and also for regulation. The wood is in superb condition with no cracks or damage. All stamps are bright. The original m'piece and case, with still wrapped keys, are in pristine condition. Current French made Buffet E13's and E12F's are giving a lot of trouble with shrinkage and wood movement, these problems commenced when Buffet moved the manufacture of these models from Germany back to the old Leblanc factory in France. Fortunately this instrument was made in Germany, by Schreiber, under license for Buffet. The E11 C is an ideal purchase for the player who wants to use the same mouthpiece that they currently use on their Bb instrument, as the instrument tunes well with all standard French bore Bb m'pieces.
