Pair of Boosey & Hawkes 1010 Clarinets
An excellent condition pair of B&H Symphony 1010 clarinets which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. They have been professionally owned here in the UK, and have been very well cared for. The instruments have fine condition tan leather pads by throughout. The Bb, matching serial nos. 456258, has no wear to the silver plate, it is pristine throughout. There is no damage to the wood, which is in excellent condition. The A, matching serial nos. 486392 has silver plate in superb condition. Again there are no cracks or damage to the wood. All pieces are matching and original. Like the Bb, the A features the later design of Acton patent Vent for improved RH tuning. Both clarinets date to the late 1970s. There are 2 barrels, of 64mm and 64.5mm. There are also 2 fine condition m'pieces, a Pillinger 1010, and a B&H 1010 No. 2. The case is the Paxman, which is in good condition.
