Leblanc, Concerto, B Flat Clarinet
A very fine condition Leblanc, Paris, Concerto Bb clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Concerto is one of the last of Leblanc's top professional wooden model clarinets, it features the same poly-cylindrical bore design, of 14.61mm, as the Opus. It was made with all of Leblanc's usual engineering excellence; with gold plated needle springs, separate pillar mounted Ab/Eb, and aged Grenadilla wood. This example has no damage or repairs to the wood, which is in fine condition. The Silver plate key work is very good with no wear. The clarinet has been to our workshop for a partial overhaul, with approximately 50% of the pads replaced with Pisoni finest fish skin. The majoirity of the pads are fish skin with a few on the upper joint in tan leather. The matching serial nos. are 78501. In addition to the original Leblanc barrel of 67mm a Backun barrel of 65mm is also supplied The supplied m'piece is the original Leblanc K10M & the case is also the original Leblanc.
