A fair condition early Buffet, Evette & Schaeffer clarinet. The matching serial numbers are B391 which probably dates to the pre-WWII period. Thus this clarinet pre-dates the introduction of the R13 and E13 models. The instrument has just had a complete re-pad in fish skin pads and is in excellent playing condition. The wood does show surface scuffs and marks and there is also a chip to the top tenon, see photo 2. The German Silver keywork is in good condition throughout. The barrel is not original but from a later professional model Buffet, it tunes this clarinet well.The case is a plush lined example in good condition as is the m'piece, which is a used Vandoren 5RV Lyre.
