King, Lemaire B Flat Clarinet
A nice condition SML King Lemaire Bb clarinet, recently taken back in part exchange by ourselves. Strasser, Marigaux, & Lemaire are best known for their world class oboes but they also make clarinets. In 1975 SML took over the Malerne factory in la Couture, France. Lemaire was the clarinet maker of the firm and the "King" Marigaux and Lemaire where professional models. The key work is very fine and all pieces are original with matching stamps. The pads and corks are all in good condition. There are a couple of filled surface cracks to the upper joint, but neither go through to the bore or into a tone hole, see plotos, 2 & 3. The damage is cosmetic only. The matching serial nos. are 23319. The supplied m'piece is a student model in good condition, as is the case. This is a fine professional quality clarinet at a student wooden clarinet price.
