Matched Pairof Boosey & Hawkes 1010 Clarinets
A very fine condition pair of B&H Symphony 1010 clarinets which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, the last owner being a Spanish professional. The instruments have used tan leather pads throughout in used condition, the older examples are "Gordon Beeson", with some newer pads. The Bb, matching serial nos. 474419 [dating to the late 1970s], has no wear to the silver plate, it is pristine throughout. There is no damage to the wood, which is in excellent condition. The A, matching serial nos. 487019 [dating to late 1970s] has silver plate in pristine condition. Again there are no cracks or damage to the wood. All pieces are matching and original. Like the Bb, the A features the later design of Acton patent Vent for improved RH tuning. There are 2 barrels of 63.8mm and 64.5mm. The m'piece is an original B&H No.2. The case is in good used condition, with some interior stains.
