Yamaha YTS25, Tenor Saxophone
This is a superb condition Yamaha YTS25 Tenor Sax, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This instrument has had only one professional owner, who as a teenage beginner was bought this Sax but quickly transitioned onto Alto, hence for a 25 year old instrument it has had little use. This instrument was made at the main Yamaha factory in Tokyo, Japan, not under license in Indonesia, as the modern Yamaha student models are. The solid build and quality of the Gold lacquered Brass body are justly renowned, this instrument would suit either a beginner or a professional on a budget.
The Tenor has serial nos. 017927. The original lacquer shows minimal wear, as seen in the photographs, there are only some slight scratches to the rear near the sling hook attachment, and the bell, see photo 12. There are no dents, or other blemishes, the body condition is excellent. The key work is in superb condition, it is well regulated. This saxophone has leather pads which are in fine condition. This Tenor plays easily throughout its range, with even response and intonation. There is a Hercules stand supplied. The case is in good used condition, with some exterior marks, the interior is very good. It comes with the original manual, 2 slings, reeds, and other accessories. The original Yamaha 4C m'piece is also in very good condition.
