Noblet, By Leblanc, Artist Bass Clarinet
This is a very fine condition Noblet Artist, Paris, Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low Eb. The Nickel Silver plated key work is in excellent condition with hardly any wear. There are some minor spots of tarnish to the bell, and one ding to the crook, see photo 5, but for a Bass dating to the 1970s the condition is exemplary, a testament to its one former owner, a professional player. The matching serial numbers are 6375. This Bass has just had finest new Pisoni tan leather pads fitted throughout in our workshop, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. There is no joint wobble, and the regulation is perfect throughout. We have just fitted a new floor peg attachment to the bell with floor spike. The supplied case is the original in fair condition, there is one interior tear to the lining, but it is fully functional. The supplied m'piece is a Kell Geometric Medium in good condition and a sling is also included. With the price of a student model Buffet/Schreiber low Eb Bass in nickel plate now approaching £5000 new, these tried and trusted Noblet Bass clarinets seem to provide excellent value for money, especially if in this condition.
