Matched Pair of Noblet, by Leblanc, Artist Clarinets
These excellent condition matched pair of Noblet Artist Clarinets, made by Leblanc, are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Noblet Artist was the top of the range Noblet model, with a cylindrical bore of 14.85mm, and it was described by Leblanc as an entry level professional model. This pair have had only one owner from new and have seen little use. As a young player, one of her clarinet "heroes" was Jack Brymer, and an autograph from him is included with the sale. The Bb has matching serial numbers 88622. The barrel is in resin, the rest of the instrument is in Grenadilla wood, which is in fine condition throughout. Both clarinets have been through our workshop for a complete overhaul in Pisoni Premium DeLuxe fish skin pads and are sold with our 1 year warranty. The nickel silver plate is excellent throughout and the clarinet features gold plated springs, to eliminate rust.
The A, with matching serial nos. 90687, has no cracks or repairs. The nickel silver plate throughout is in pristine condition. This clarinet is made entirely from Grenadilla wood, apart from the barrel which is in resin. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is in fine order. The late serial numbers make this pair date to the late 1990s. The supplied m'piece is a new Selmer HS. If desired the pair can be split as follows: A in double case for £895.
