Selmer, Mark VII, Tenor Saxophone
This Selmer Mark VII Tenor saxophone is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. It's last owner is a professional player who was very active as a theatre musician in London's West End. A former owner had a brace soldered to the crook, as he preferred not to remove the crook when adding the m'piece, see photo 8. As can be seen from close inspection of the photos the sax has had much use. There is much wear to the original lacquer, and the key work. The pads are tan leather in excellent used condition, and this Tenor responds easily and evenly right through the range. The serial numbers are 306807 which dates to 1980. The supplied case is a Protech in good condition, with only a minor tear to the exterior carry pouch. A used Link 7* m'piece is also provided.
