This Leblanc, Paris, professional model, Grenadilla wood Alto Clarinet is in very good condition. The nickel silver plated key work is very fine throughout, with only minor spot wear. The crook and bell are both is in excellent condition, with no dings or scratches. The Grenadilla wood throughout is in superb condition, for a vintage instrument, with no damage, cracks or repairs. It is safe to assume that this instrument has not been owned by an institution, there are no additional serial numbers scratched into the wood, it has been exceptionally well cared for. The matching serial numbers are 6931, which probably dates to the mid 1960s. The used tan leather pads are in good condition throughout. The mouthpiece is an original Leblanc 2V in good used condition. There is a Neo-Tech sling and a sling hook, as well as a still wrapped pull through. The original case is in good used condition, apart from the handle which is frayed. The Alto responds easily with exemplary intonation across the entire range.
